The regulations have recently changed in Nepal regarding trekking permits, and now some regions require them and some don\'t. You will be informed if your particular trek requires such a permit and the application forms will be filled in after your arrival in Kathmandu. We (Access-Himalaya) will then arrange for the issue of your trekking permit: all you have to do is to supply two passport size photographs and your Passport or Passport photocopy. Please note that permits to visit some restricted areas in Nepal are extremely expensive - for example, Upper Mustang and Shey Gompa cost US$700 for the first 10 days.
