Accommodation in Pokhara

It is our policy to use Nepali-owned accommodation, always, as we feel this is an aspect of fair trade, and most of the hotels are also family-run.. The hotels we use in Pokhara are no more than 20 minutes away from the airport and are very close to the beautiful Phewa lake with close proximity to shops and restaurants. We visit, and stay in the hotels ourselves, to ensure that facilities are well kept and updated where necessary. All rooms have air conditioning, and en suite bathrooms with flush toilet, hand basin, and bath/shower combo (one or two rooms shower only). The rooms are relatively spacious and most have twin beds, dressing table, wardrobe with coat hangers, luggage rack, occasional table and easy chairs - some double rooms are available also. All hotels have their own restaurants - indoor, garden and/or rooftop. - with well-stocked bars, safe storage for luggage and valuables, and money-changing facilities.

Nowadays the majority of larger hotels have wi-fi/internet facilities and international telephone call services, although you should bear in mind that Nepalese hotel facilities are somewhat simpler than their European counterparts. For tired trekkers there are genuine therapeutic massage facilities available to relieve aching limbs – just ask at the Reception desk!

For adventure seekers in Pokhara, there are opportunities for paragliding, parahawking, ultralite flightgs and zip-riding - as well as the less-adrenalin-pumping motorbike or cycle hire, boating, pony trekking and beautifuil day hikes in the surrounding area. Details of these activities may be obtained from your hotel, or may be organised in advance through ourselves.K are comfortable, clean, efficient and friendly.

Please see our Hotel/Resort page for details, and please get in touch with us if you would like extra activities to be arranged for you prior to your visit
